And we have a winner!!!

Congratulations goes to Janet Staden who has won $2010 in our 50/50 raffle!

Thank you to all who supported us with purchasing 50/50 tickets.

50/50 Raffle – draw March 17, 2021

Friends of Strathcona County Library is excited to announce our online 50/50 Cash Raffle.  As we have been unable to fundraise our usual ways (Valentine’s Day Basket Raffle and Christmas Gift Wrapping) we have joined the 50/50 wave.

One lucky person will win a minimum $1,000 or up to 50% of the funds raised.

The money raised will be used to assist the Library in the purchase of much needed e-books and other online material.

For over 25 years, the FSCL Society has been helping our Library raise funds to meet specific needs, promoting the services of the Library through public relations, and advocating on behalf of the Library. Since the onset of the Corona Virus, the Friends of Strathcona County Library Society has been unable to do any of our usual yearly fund raising activities. We remain committed to the Library in assisting with their special programs and have decided to try this 50/50 Raffle in order to help us keep these commitments.

Our Library is a significant resource for lifelong learning; for children, students, adults, and seniors. Your contributions to this raffle will be greatly appreciated and certainly put to good use during these unique times. We thank you in advance.
