It’s that time of year again! Strathcona County Library’s Fall Feast of Words is happening Oct 10-Nov 2
Through Fall Feast of Words, the Strathcona County Library celebrates the importance of the written word and brings it to life by hosting a series of authors in conversation.
The library is looking for two volunteers per event to set up a book sale table and handle the sales of the presenting author’s books before and after each author talk. Volunteers are welcome to join the audience for the presentation in between. At the end of the event, the author(s) will join you at the book sale table to sign books and interact with event attendees.
The time commitment is approximately 2-2.5 hours per event. Responsibilities include unboxing and displaying books, handling cash or POS system for cards, tracking sales. Depending upon your comfort level, you may be asked to assist with checking in patrons or last minute set up details.
