We’re thrilled to share some exciting news—the Friends of the Strathcona County Library Society is expanding our support in a big way! Thanks to a recent donation, 85 brand-new Wonderbooks have been added to the Strathcona County Library’s Bookmobile collection.
If you’re new to Wonderbooks, here’s why this is big news:
Each Wonderbook is a regular print book with a built-in audiobook player. Kids just press play and read along, helping them build confidence, comprehension, and a love of stories—all while having fun. Want to learn more about Wonderbooks? Check their site out here.
Wonderbooks have been a huge hit in the Central Library’s children’s section, so much so that they’re rarely found on the shelf! Now, with a new Friends donation, rural families in Strathcona County will enjoy the same access to these innovative literacy tools through the Bookmobile.
