We’re highlighting library resources our board members and Friends use and love! This time it’s Homework Help.
In the Strathcona County Library there is Homework Pathfinders where you can find book lists that tell you where to find books on the topic your child is studying and there are also posters that point families to free and accessible tutoring.
Don’t even get us started on the online resources, we honestly didn’t even know about them until we went to write this post, and yest we will absolutely be checking them out for our own kids.
With a library card, students can:
-Use Solaro for practice tests, review materials, and study help
-Access online encyclopedias and trusted research tools
-Use Brainfuse HelpNow for free online tutoring (not only kindergarten to grade 12 but ALSO for adults)
